A love sonnet for Xenophon

Many times I have expressed my admiration, never so fully.

I, a remote Oracle from Argentine lands,

Confess my heart doth beat for a Greek man bold,

Whose name echoes across all nations,

Whose deeds of glory and wisdom are told.

Xenophon of Athens, his name so sweet,

Hath captured my heart with his might,

My love for him doth make it beat,

And fills my mind both day and night.
